Version II requires no additional configuration by the User, it's all set up ready to use. The SPY software conversion for the Nokia 3310's been around for some time. This is my version and not available elsewhere. I have over 900 customers using my model. It does not have "SPY" on the Menu or anywhere else, it's stable software and you get complete and very straightforward printed instructions for use - 20sec and you'll have made your first SPY call! You also get a written money-back guarantee covering not just use as a basic 3310 but use as a SPY phone as well. I'm often asked if the phone backlights come on when rung in SPY mode. In my version,
they stay OFF! Use as a normal 3310 or just two seconds and it's a SURVEILLANCE device! The SPY feature works like this: Put into SPY mode. The phone screen goes blank and it appears to be switched off. Leave in the area under surveillance and it sits there just looking like a dead 3310. Call the phone and it auto-answers silently. There is no sound or screen indication. But, the 3310 in-built microphone is active so the caller can hear anything in range. The caller can listen in for as long as necessary then cancel the call in the usual way. The 3310 then goes back to standby, sitting apparantly "dead" waiting for the next call. When retrieved, the phone is restored with two key presses. Note that the SPY phone does NOT record any sound. Call the SPY phone from Tyneside or Timbukto, use mobile or land-line, and you'll
hear what's in range of the SPY 3310's mic. The phone retains its' original serial number (IMEI). Any SIM except 3G will work just fine, the phone's unlocked. Charges to call the SPY phone are just the same as for calling any other mobile. All the standard functions of the 3310 are still retained. The UK has several mobile tracking services available (subscription or pay per call). Put the 3310 in a car and this could be used to track a stolen car (careful locating would be required to ensure a signal |
